§ 14-2. Hawkers and peddlers generally.

  • (a)

    No person shall display, sell, offer to sell or advertise for sale by any means whatsoever any goods, wares, merchandise, refreshments or foodstuffs upon the streets and highways within the city between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. of the following day unless permitted to do so by this Code.

    (b)

    No person shall operate, cause to be operated, use or cause to be used any vehicle upon the streets and highways within the city for the purpose of displaying, selling, offering to sell or advertising for sale by any means whatsoever any goods, merchandise, wares, refreshments and foodstuffs between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. of the following day.

    (c)

    The provisions of this section shall not apply to any person engaged in the delivery of goods, wares, merchandise or other articles or things in the regular course of business to the premises of persons ordering or entitled to receive the same.
