§ 15-366. Leaving scene of accident without giving proper identification.

  • The driver of any vehicle involved in any accident resulting in injury to or death of any person or damage to any property shall immediately stop such vehicle at the scene of such accident and shall give his name; residence, including street number and city; registration number of his vehicle; and any chauffeur's or registered operator's number, if any, to the person injured, or to the driver or occupants of any vehicle collided with, or to a police officer, or if no police officer is in the vicinity, then to the nearest police station of the city.
