§ 17-11. Use of tape dialer alarm prohibited.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to install or have installed within a residence, business, or any other building, within the city limits, a device or tape dialer, which when activated, sends a prerecorded voice message over a telephone cable or wire to the police department of the city.

(b)

No alarm of this type shall be installed in or routed to the police facility.

(c)

Any alarm so described in subsection (a) in this section, now installed or routed to the police facility, shall be removed within 90 days after June 25, 1984.
