§ 22-21. Required.

(a)

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no sign of the types defined in section 1-2 shall be erected, nor the location of any existing sign changed, until a permit therefor shall have been issued by the director.

(b)

No existing sign shall be enlarged, rebuilt, structurally altered or relocated except in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and until a permit therefor has been issued by the director.
