§ 25-26. Plat submission required.

Every subdivision of land within the city shall be shown upon a preliminary plat and submitted to the planning and zoning commission for its recommendation no later than the close of business on the Friday preceding the Monday six weeks before the regularly scheduled meeting of the zoning commission. All preliminary plats, accompanied by the recommendation of the planning and zoning commission, shall be submitted to the board of aldermen for its consideration and approval or disapproval.
