§ 25-91. Street construction.

  • (a)

    All subdivisions that shall be platted in the city and approved by the board of aldermen shall contain streets constructed in accordance with the typical section illustrations of section 24-6 entitled "illustrations."

    (b)

    All asphalt streets shall be constructed with a concrete curb and gutter on a crushed limestone base course having a total width of two feet six inches.

    (c)

    All streets shall have underdrains beneath the curb and gutters along both sides of the pavement, or as directed by the city engineer.

    (d)

    Concrete curbs and gutters shall have sawed transverse joints at a maximum spacing of 12 feet. All joints shall be sealed with a rubberized filler.
