§ 3-196. License—Required.

Every manufacturer, distiller, brewer or wholesaler of intoxicating liquor within the limits of the city shall apply for and be licensed as such by the board of aldermen, and any such person who fails to obtain such license, or pay the fee, or who fails to comply with any provisions of this article, or amendments thereof or with the provisions of other ordinances or laws of the state relating to intoxicating liquor shall, on conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to the penalties provided herein for the violation of this Code.
