§ 7-2. Exterior walls to be constructed of brick or masonry.

  • (a)

    No person shall erect any building or any addition to any building heretofore erected in any of the commercial, service and industrial districts of the city, as these districts are presently established by the city's zoning ordinance or may in the future be established by any amendment thereto, having exterior walls constructed of any material other than brick or stone masonry or other material acceptable to the building commissioner.

    (b)

    All cooling towers and mechanical equipment installed in conjunction with any building or installed upon any building in any commercial, service or industrial district shall be enclosed on all sides by walls extending to the height of the highest projection of such equipment and constructed of brick or stone masonry or other material acceptable to the building commissioner.
