§ 7-81. When permits required.
Latest version.
No person shall construct, erect or alter any building or structure in the city, except fences and signs otherwise provided for, when the cost of such construction, erection or alteration exceeds $100.00 or where the effect of such construction, erection or alteration is to enlarge the capacity or affect the bearing walls of any building or the roof thereof, without first having secured a permit therefor and paid the required fee.
