§ 14-49. Bond required of persons operating certain amusements.

No license shall be issued under the provisions of this article to any person coming
within the definition of a merchant, business or occupation whose business includes,
entails or consists of the operation or running or conduct of amusement rides such
as merry-go-rounds, Ferris wheels, octopuses, scramblers, tilt-a-whirls and other
amusement rides, until such person has deposited with the city clerk evidence that
he has secured, paid for and has in effect a policy of public liability insurance
with a coverage of not less than $100,000.00 for injury to any one person and of not
less than $300,000.00 for injuries arising out of any one incident.
