§ 2-32. Social security.

(a)

The city on behalf of its employees shall participate in the federal social security program.

(b)

Payment of sums by the city as required by the Federal Social Security Act, withholding of funds from compensation of employees as required by the Federal Social Security Act and payment on behalf of employees of sums to the Federal Social Security Administration as required by the Federal Social Security Act are hereby authorized.
